Our Shipping Policies
Shipping Within The USA
For all domestic orders (herein referred to as “Standard Delivery”) within the United States and US Territories, we offer:
FLAT RATE SHIPPING OF $5.00 for all orders up to $99.99 USD
FREE SHIPPING on orders above $100.00 USD.
Your shipping total will be reflected in your cart before you finish checking out and complete your order.
Orders are generally processed within 3 business days. We ship our standard delivery orders using the US Postal Service’s Priority Service which typically takes no more than 3 business days. The US Postal Service currently considers Saturday a business day. On occasion, we may experience packing or shipping delays due to circumstances beyond our control. Please take these processing times into account.
Delivery date estimates are good faith estimates. Pondicherryshop.com cannot be held responsible for delays in the shipment of your order that may be due to a variety of factors such as inclement weather or shipping carrier errors. Please note that we do not ship on Sundays or public holidays. Once your order is placed and shipped, you will receive an email confirmation that your order has been packed and shipped. This email will include your tracking number so that you can track your shipment online.
We also offer USPS Express Mail shipping options if you’d like to place a “Rush” order, within the continental United States. These orders will receive priority and we will make every attempt to them within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the order (Monday through Friday). If an order is received over the weekend, a Rush order will be shipped out on the next business day. Please note that we do not ship on Sundays or public holidays. If you would like to use UPS or FedEx for standard or rush shipping, please contact us and we will accommodate your request.
For international shipping, we may use a variety of different carriers, and the cost of shipping will be dependent on the total weight of the items and geographic destination. We apologize, but there is no flat rate shipping option for International (outside of the U.S.) customers at this time. For all other destinations, we offer DHL and USPS Priority International delivery. Transit times on items coming from or going to international addresses are highly variable so please allow 1-2 weeks for transit.
Please note that you may be responsible for import duties and taxes on your order. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.
There is a $10.00 USD charge for address changes on packages that need to be re-routed during delivery or returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address. Please be sure that you enter the correct shipping address during checkout.
Shipping Errors and Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event that you receive the wrong item, or if it is defective or damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your package. We will gladly take prompt corrective action and arrange to have the item replaced. Please do not, however, send back these items prior to contacting us. Photos are often required and always suggested so that a claim may be made with the shipping company.
Please ensure that you inspect all packages for damage before accepting the package. If damage is visible, reject the shipment, be sure the driver notes the damage, and then contact us as soon as possible.
We will file a damage claim with the shipping company and ship a replacement or replacement part as soon as possible. If you have received a damaged product that can be remedied with replacement parts and choose to return an item rather than accept replacement parts, you will be refunded the amount of your order less all return shipping charges.
